A Night with Sean Astin

For over four decades, Sean Astin has entertained us at the movies and in our living rooms. The son of luminary performers Patty Duke and John Astin and the brother of seasoned actor Mackenzie Astin has:
- thrived in the world of independent cinema with meaningful performances in richly diverse films,
- appeared as both a series regular and a guest star on many familiar dramatic programs,
- narrated DreamWorks' Captain Underpants, and
- voiced animated characters in films and television.
What you may not know is that he is an avid long-distance runner and triathlete. He has completed 12 full marathons, including the 2016 New York City Marathon, in honor of his late mother, Patty Duke, in recognition of her life's work as an advocate for mental health.
