Sr. Maintenance Technician

The Sr. Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. To maintain the facilities owned and operated by The Rescue Mission and to implement a system that reflects excellence and cleanliness. The Sr. Maintenance Technician should have the heart of a servant in accordance with Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”

Resident Advocate - Charis House

The Resident Advocate assures appropriate services are provided for participants in either Life House, Charis House, or Emergency Shelter and ensures the safe and smooth operation of the house during the assigned shift. The Residential Care Staff should have the heart of a servant in accordance with Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”

Food Services Associate

To supervise and perform the smooth completion of daily food preparation, serving meals and facilitate proper clean-up operations. Maintain a basic menu, request ordering of food and kitchen supplies promptly. Serve as a job coach teaching job readiness skills to participants. Resident Advocate - Life House

Chief Development Officer

The Chief Development Officer (CDO) is responsible for the development and implementation of the overall stewardship strategy to support the organizational budget consistent with the mission and purpose of The Rescue Mission (TRM). The CDO acts as the primary strategist for giving campaigns, while providing team leadership, management, and accountability of the Stewardship Department. This position is directly responsible for leadership of the Stewardship staff and programs including campaigns, partnership development, grant procurement and management, volunteer management, events, marketing, direct mail, and public relations. The CDO works collaboratively across the organization to build a culture of philanthropy and ensure The Rescue Mission’s goals are achieved. The CDO should have the heart of a servant in accordance with Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.

Armed Security Officer - Weekends

The Security Officer is armed and works to ensure that the environment is safe for all, while building a good rapport with those encountered.
